Warning: Adult Content: Tucker Max book signing

"yeah, there's gonna be a third book.  It's basically all the shit that should have been in this book, but wasn't.  But- uh- you got 400 f*cking pages, you got your money's worth, so I don't want to hear any bitching."

Tucker Max is the author of I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell which was turned into a movie, and the recently released Assholes Finish First, and in addition, hosts his own website.

This guy is hilarious.  Be warned: he's offensive, a drunk, and generally an asshole.  That is exactly what his books are about.  If you can hack it, read them.  I have never laughed so hard while reading a book in my life.  In fact, some of my old roommates liked his first book so much that they stole it from me a week before I was going to move out and I was forced to purchase a new copy.

Yesterday night, Tucker was at Joseph Beth in Rookwood for a book signing, so Jeff and I went.  I must say, I was a little worried he was going to be a total d-bag.  I mean, his books are funny, but even as you read it you think: "Man, this guys is hilarious, but also kind of a d-bag, but also kind of awesome".  In person, he was a completely normal, cool guy.  He actually reminds me a little of Jeff, but on a much more extreme scale.

Some of my favorite parts of Q&A:
Q: Do you think you'll ever get married?
A: Oh hell yeah.  Definitely.. Here's the thing-- getting drunk and doing stupid shit and having a lot of sex is funny when you're, like, 24.  Being that single guy at 44?  Well, that guy is kinda f*cking creepy.  I mean, look, when you're 10, you play with G.I. Joes-- when you're 20 you play with yourself, and when you're 30 you play with your girlfriend."

Q: (From some girl) Do you need any new material?
A:  I get this question a lot.  Just because I sleep with you, doesn't mean you'll be in one of my books.  You gotta think-  would any of these assholes out here want to ready about me?

He over all was pretty interesting to listen to, and I think I'm going to enjoy his new book more having met him.

Jeff and I couldn't find the camera, so we had to take cell phone pictures.. Still doesn't look too bad though.

Denise, I'm still awesome- Tucker Max
