Dishes with Dee: Its Freakin' Greek Dip, Megan!

After a year or so of the blog I will finally post my Greek dip recipe...

Megan can stop begging now.

Greek dip is awesome for parties.
Or for snacking,
or for Tuesdays....

So here's what ya need:

1 avocado- peeled, pitted, and chopped
2 roma tomatoes- seeded and chopped
-1/2 c. red onion- chopped
1/2 small can of chopped olives (Kroger brand is perfect)
4 oz. feta cheese
1 tbsp EVOO
1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar.
2-3 cloves of garlic- minced  (Recipe actually calls for only 1, but you know me)
chopped oregano and parsley (however much you want-- I do about 1-2 tbsp of each)

And here's what ya do:

1.  Combine tomato, avo, onion, and olives in a medium bowl and mix.

2.  In a small dish, stir together EVOO and vinegar.  Pour over avo mixture.

3.  Add garlic, feta, and herbs (I add a little salt and pepper too)  Mix all ingredients.

Pop it in the 'fridge until you need it. (Covered obviously)

Serve with tortilla chips.  Scoops dood.

This recipe is so easy anyone can make it.  The way I chop everything (big pieces) this is more like a salsa than a dip.  My sister chops everything very finely so its more dip-like.  Either way is good, so pick your poison.

Shout out to my mutha for the recipe.
