Eat Clean: Week of October 14th

Alright y'all! 
Welcome to Week 3!

So far, I'm feeling more energized.  My muscles are repairing faster after an intense workout, I'm sleeping more soundly.
This is a lifestyle change I can get on board with.

I definitely wasn't kidding about it being time consuming, but it feels pretty worth it to me so far.

What do you guys think?
Hopefully me posting about it makes it easier on you guys.

Look at us, we're slowly growing up.
Freaky.

So, my beautiful and hardworking loves, here we go:

Breakfast:

 Summer Porridge.
Just ignore the word summer.
It doesn't even matter that it's already 40 degrees in the morning.
These are a make-ahead. So do it on Sunday night.



Lunch:

Mexican Quinoa salad
Again, make it all ahead on Sunday night.

Snacks:

Morning: Celery with organic peanut butter
Afternoon: 1/2 c. small curd cottage cheese with melon (your choice) and agave nectar.

Shopping list for Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks:
Produce: Strawberries, Blueberries, 3 Avocados, 1/2 honeydew (or whatever melon you're using), celery, cherry tomatoes, 2 ears of corn, cilantro, red onion (if you're using it in the quinoa salad), 1 jalapeno, garlic, 1 lime.
Meats: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Dairy: Plain greek yogurt, cottage cheese, low-fat milk
Other: Organic peanut butter, almonds, agave nectar, steel cut oats
